Our Society has collected a large number of resources over the many years we have been operating. These include books, cds, microfiche, and local family histories.

Updating resource register
We currently are accessioning our book resources into the Albany Library System. These resources can be used by members of our society.

A large collection of books on Australian and World genealogy topics, regional history and resources

CDs

A variety of Australian and World resource CD, which have been installed on our Society computers.

Internet Access

We now have a connection to the Internet, via the Albany Public Library, and some of the sites we are able to access include:
  • Trove Newspapers;
  • Birth, death and marriage indexes for the UK from 1837;
  • Family Search the site of the Church of Latter Day Saints records;
  • Australian Army records;

Microfiche

Using a Microfiche Reader to access a variety of Microfiche Australian and World resources.

WA Records

Resource specifically providing genealogical information in reference to Western Australia.

Family Histories of Early Settlers

Books researched and published about specific family trees.
