Albany Library and Tourist Center Amalgamation
Over the course of 2017 the front third of the Albany Library is going to be removed and a new Tourist Center is to be built. This project will upgrade some of the library facilities, incorporate the Tourist center and create some large conference rooms.
During this time period the Albany Regional Family History Society and the Albany History Collection are being temporarily moved to the Albany Cooperative Society Building (refurbished in 2015) located on the corner of Frederick Street and Spencer Street. The move will be occurring in March. For further information contact the Albany Library or Albany Shire. |
